We are enhancing our existing checking and savings accounts with new and better features. This change takes effect automatically on August 31st and will require no action on your part. You may see some differences between your current account type and your new account type. A New Accounts Guide and Schedule of Fees is included on this page. The New Accounts Guide has an easy account conversion with links that detail the many upgraded features and benefits of your new account. If after reviewing your new account information or receiving your first new account statement you feel another account type might better meet your needs, please feel free to contact us or come by the bank and visit with a personal banker.

Here are answers to some questions you may have:

  • Your base account number will not change, however a branch number and/or zeros will be added to the front of the account number to equal 12 digits.
  • The bank’s routing number for wire transfers, check reorders, direct deposit and automatic drafts will change to 111301122.
  • You will get a new debit card number, and you will also receive a randomly generated PIN. If you have automatic payments paid with your debit card number, please remember to notify those companies of this change for payments made after August 28th. If you prefer to change the randomly generated PIN, please stop by one of our conveniently located bank lobbies; the debit card needs to be present to change the PIN to something you prefer.
  • Don’t worry, your existing checks and deposit slips are fine to use "As Is" until your next reorder. At that time please begin using the new 12 digit account number with the new bank routing number mentioned above.
  • You will receive two (2) statements during the month of August. One will occur on August 28th and another on your regular statement cycle date. The August 28th statement will show interest paid from your last statement through August 28th.
  • Online banking and bill payment customers will receive a separate mailing with new changes.
  • Your direct deposit and automatic drafts will transfer to the new system. When it is convenient, please notify any company that may need your new 12 digit account number and new bank routing number information for automated deposit or payments

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us by calling (936) 760-1888 or coming by the bank. We are happy to answer your questions and explore new options with you. We value your business, and we want to make sure these changes are a WIN/WIN for all parties...especially you!

Sincerely,

Sam's Sig
